It’s the first glorious snow of the year! The world is sparkling, and the driveway is blanketed in white. But neighbor Steve wants to shovel it all away—bad Steve! Claim the snow as your own before Steve can clear it away.

Instructions
Download either the Mac or Windows version based on your operating system.
For Mac
Once you open the .dmg file, you’ll see the Snow Dog logo. Do not double-click on the logo to open the game. Instead, right click and select "Open". You may see pop-up windows similar to the ones below. Please click "Open" for both:
In macOS 10.14 and later, you may get a notification that the app requests microphone access. Snow Dog doesn’t use the microphone, so you can deny it.
For PC
You may get a security warning like the one here:
Click on "More info" and you will see an option to start the app.
Troubleshooting
- If you have issues opening the Mac version, here’s a resource with workarounds.
- If any game features aren’t working, try pressing the ESCAPE key to reboot.
- To quit the game, press ⌘Q.
- If you are experiencing graphical lag, try turning the animation graphics to "Low" or "Off" (in the Options menu).

Cara Ehlenfeldt & Jonesy Jones
Cara Ehlenfeldt is a writer, producer, and interdisciplinary artist with an emphasis on sound. She is the Co-creator/Producer of the independent audio drama The Godshead Incidental and the Associate Producer of Radiotopia's The Truth. She holds an M.A. in Sound Arts and Industries from Northwestern and enjoys trying weird audio effects just to see what will happen.
Jonesy Jones is a performer, sound designer, media artist, and recent graduate of Northwestern's Sound Arts and Industries MA program. His recent credits include Happy Birthday Mars Rover (Passage Theater), Director's Haven (Haven Theater) and Brick, the Yes-Android (Slamdance DIG). At time of writing, he has just returned from a job interview that the interviewer forgot to show up for.
